Dorset wedding photography at Sandbanks

My Blog has been neglected of late mainly due to not having any time to do one :) with only uploading preview photos to facebook i miss putting a few of my faves up online after i do all the editing. so this is Samantha & Paul's wedding it was a lovely service in Westbourne, the reception was beach themed and held at the Jazz cafe, Sandbanks

Like allot of weddings........the little ones try to steal the show

but as ever the bride and groom steal it straight back

After the service we stopped for some photos on evening hill to let the party catch up n get to the drinks at the Jazz Cafe

I dont usualy post up group photos but i thought i would be different today. I love trying to get these done as soon as possible at weddings so the Bride & Groom can get back to drinking and socializing :-) or is it so i can get back to drinking and socializing..errm

aaaaaah the cliche bride carry.......... when asked.....i dont mind a bit of cheese :-) im there to please

New Born Baby Shoot // Dorset Wedding Photographer

8 Day old Anthony was the perfect lil model. Im really loving doing shoots like these. its great to capture images of friends loved ones. I dont often get to do baby shoots as im usually busy with Weddings, Football and Rollerderby...........or drinking......so its great to keep me on my toes shooting everything and anything :-) love love love it.........on a sadder note lil Anth picked up a bug shortly after this shoot so im sending my best wishes to him and Mum & Dad. Feel better soon bud, i cant wait to catch up with you guys at our next shoot! when Anth is up and about tearing the house apart :-) now all together..............aaaaaaaawwwwwwww

Poole Guildhall Wedding // Dorset Wedding Photographer

Last year I shot at Poole Guildhall a couple of times and its starting to be my favorate venue....It has lovely light throughout and its surrounded by the old town streets.... My Last wedding of 2012 was in December and we passed the venue in the evening so why not get some night photos outside where Andy & Vicky got married earlier in the day :-) I think im getting addicted to black & White photos

End Of 2012 Thanks

So there goes another year, 2012 was my busiest photography wise, photographing well over 20 weddings and plenty of shoots in between. I was blessed to have such great clients this year with very unique weddings to shoot. What I love most about my job is that everyday isnt the same. and the company i have working with me changes also which is great so a HUGE thanks to Greg Thurtle & Anna Morgan & Kris Oddy who helped me out a number of times this year 2nd shooting. I Will be posting more images from my last six months as i have neglected my blog allot. but for now i would like to post up a Black & White Bridal prep set from Ana & Cj's Wedding I shot in November. So heres to a busy 2013........fingers crossed its just as manic :-)

Business shoot

As i have reduced my hours at my day job i now only work mon-weds for 27ish hours. it free's up time on thursdays and Fridays to do imagery for local companies......I Love doing this kind of work, Exspecialy with the challenges it holds. With my wedding work you have to make deal with certain lighting conditions etc but the main issue with business shoots is space everyone wants photos in there office......and everyones offices have allot of desks obviosly and no space haha :) any its a challenge i love to take on. anywho, well here is a couple i shot on Thursday this week. of the lovely ppl at Hamilton Townsend And some individual shots :-) im looking forward to making a kick ass composite of each of the members with the white background, theres about 20 members in all i think so it could look AMAZING or completely pants......haha.........watch this space
